It has recently been brought to my attention via customer requests that some enhancements were long overdue for the Micro Star
These new software upgrades are now available.
It was suggested that the user options in the mark space signal generator were made more flexible.
It was always possible to increase or decrease the mark space ratio with the previous ROM version of the Micro Star but it was not possible to save these settings. Now the parameters can be saved when the unit is powered down.
The number of pulses that you can apply per space can now be increased or decreased and these parameters saved.
Another idea was to incorporate a set of default parameters that the Micro Star could be quickly set to.
The Micro Star has permanently stored default settings that can be reloaded any time you feel you have made too many changes and you want to start again.

Mark space can be saved

Number of pulses per mark space can be changed (minimum 2 and maximum 80)

Save function in all menu functions

Ability to switch off the PWM signal without powering down the Micro Star

On powering up the Micro Star does not automatically generate a PWM signal

The PWM signal must be switched on by user after power up

Data save function is available in all menu locations

Default parameters can be reloaded at any time

All data setting are now savable and retrievable on power up
All customers who have purchased the Micro Star are invited to send their processor chip back for reprogramming at no extra cost, apart from that cost incurred by postage. If you are so inclined to keep your current processor chip, I am happy to burn a new chip and send it to all current owners of the Micro Star for a discounted fee.
